With the new style pneumatic grips……

My last experience in the lab made me realize how much time I saved by using the new pneumatic side acting grips compared to the previous grips. In this particular application, I had to change the jaw faces between rubber coated and smooth surfaces due to variants in the material characteristics. This had to be done on the same sample of 10 specimens for visual comparisons. Changing the faces on the new pneumatic grips is just a matter of easily pushing them out and inserting the other ones. I love the snap-in centering design that stops the face when it is centered during installation, and not having to deal with pins as in the previous design.
