The past several months have had Instron TERM circling the globe. We have attended conferences in Canada, China, South Korea, and the United States. We have been speaking with premier researchers, physicians, and industry leaders in the field of regenerative medicine and introducing Instron’s newest instrument solutions for this application. We have had the pleasure of demonstrating both electromechanical and dynamic instruments in combination with bioreactors, receiving a great deal of interest in these combination solutions.
In Asia, we have learned that they are building tissue engineering labs for multiple tissue types and, as a result, researchers have a broad interest. This broad interest means an interest in all of Instron's instruments and solutions. These labs are aggressively building capabilities with short timelines to deliver regenerative medicine therapies to the population in quick order.
In the United States,
most researchers are focused on a specific tissue type; however, they
still have an interest across the Instron instrument platform,
especially for bone and ligament research applications.
