Welcome to our new Instron Community Blog hosted by Instron. It is a compilation of the freshest, brightest, most-talented minds that Instron has to offer. The world of materials science is so vast and encompasses the broadest range of industries, materials, and challenges that no one person can possibly possess all the knowledge required to be the resident expert – or master of materials science. It takes a small army behind the scenes collaborating and sharing technical know-how, experiences, and ideas to present the most accurate, relevant, and timely information to you – our readers.

We invite you to tell us who you are, share your stories and talk about your experiences. Join the Instron Community.

Going Global: Instron TERM Meets with Researchers Around the World!

The past several months have had Instron TERM circling the globe. We have attended conferences in Canada, China, South Korea, and the United States. We have been speaking with premier researchers, physicians, and industry leaders in the field of regenerative medicine and introducing Instron’s newest instrument solutions for this application.  We have had the pleasure of demonstrating both electromechanical and dynamic instruments in combination with bioreactors, receiving a great deal of interest in these combination solutions.

In Asia, we have learned that they are building tissue engineering labs for multiple tissue types and, as a result, researchers have a broad interest. This broad interest means an interest in all of Instron's instruments and solutions. These labs are aggressively building capabilities with short timelines to deliver regenerative medicine therapies to the population in quick order.

In the United States, most researchers are focused on a specific tissue type; however, they still have an interest across the Instron instrument platform, especially for bone and ligament research applications.

TERMIS NA: Atlanta, GA United States
The biggest takeaway was that there is a vibrant TERM research market happening around the world!
